CPU Internal Cache / External Cache
Cache memory is additional memory that is much faster than conventional
DRAM (system memory). CPU contains internal cache memory, and has
additional (external) cache memory. When the CPU requests data, the
system transfers the requested data from the main DRAM into cache
memory, for even faster access by the CPU.
Setting Description
Enabled Turns on CPU internal / External cache
Disabled Turns off CPU internal / External cache
CPU L2 Cache ECC Checking
Set the ECC (Error-Correcting Code) feature for Level 2 cache. Facilitates
error detection/correction when data passes through Level 2 cache.
Setting Description
Enabled Turns on CPU L2 Cache ECC Checking
Disabled Turns off CPU L2 Cache ECC Checking
