5. Maintenance
1. After use, clean and wipe the jaws of the tongs to remove dust and
metal shavings.
2. Use lubricating oil on the jaws to maintain flexibility.
3. Regularly check the tongs' jaws and screws for looseness, and adjust
or replace as needed.
4. For extended and complex machining tasks, alternate between spare
tongs to reduce wear and prolong lifespan.
