10 TIME
The Time menu has the following functions:
Alarm clock
You can set your Vertu phone to sound an alarm at a desired time.
The alarm will sound even if your Vertu phone is switched off.
Setting the alarm
To set the alarm:
1. From the stand-by display, press Menu » Time » Alarm clock.
2. Use the number keys to enter the time you want the alarm to sound.
3. Scroll down to set the Repeat: feature.
4. If you select On, scroll down to select the Repeat days:. Press
Mark to select the repeat days required. Press Done when
complete.
5. Scroll down to set the Alarm tone:. Choose from the standard
tone or one stored in the Gallery files, or one previously downloaded.
6. Scroll down to select the Snooze time-out: in minutes.
7. Select Save when complete.
A message confirms that the alarm is on and a small bell icon is
visible on the stand-by display.
Cancelling the alarm
To cancel the alarm:
1. From the stand-by display, press Menu » Time » Alarm clock »
Alarm:.
2. Use the left or right JOYSTICK to select Off and then scroll down
to
Save.
A message confirms that the alarm setting has been saved.
Turning off the alarm
To turn off a ringing alarm:
1. When the alarm sounds press Stop.
2. If your Vertu phone is switched off when the alarm sounds, a
message asks if you want to switch the phone on. Press
Yes to
switch the phone on or press
No to leave the phone switched off.
Activating the snooze function
To activate the snooze function:
1. When the alarm sounds press Snooze.
2. The alarm will sound again after the Snooze time-out duration defined
when setting the alarm.
3. If you leave the alarm ringing, it will ring for approximately one minute
and then go into snooze mode.
Timer
To set the timer:
1. From the stand-by display, press Menu » Time » Timer.
2. Select Normal timer and enter the alarm time. Select OK.
3. Use the NUMBER keys to write a note text to display when the time
expires.
4. Select Start to begin the timer.
To stop the timer:
From the stand-by display, press Menu » Time » Timer » Stop
timer

To change the timer:
To change the timer, select Menu » Time » Timer » Change time.
When the alarm time is reached, your Vertu sounds a tone and
flashes the note that you created. The alarm sounds for
approximately 60 seconds. To stop the alarm press any key.
To stop the alarm and delete the note, press Exit, or press Restart
to start the timer again.
To set the interval timer with up to 10 intervals, first enter the
intervals.
1. From the stand-by display, press Menu » Time » Timer »
Interval timer.
2. Select Add new timerand enter the timer name. Select Save.
3. Enter the name for the first period. Select Save.
4. Enter the time for the first period. Select OK.
5. Press Select to edit or delete the period, add a new period, or to
start the timer.
To start the interval timer:
1. From the stand-by display, press Menu » Time » Timer »
Interval timer.
2. Scroll to the interval timer required and press Select.
3. Scroll to Start timer and press Start.
To stop the interval timer:
1. From the stand-by display, press Menu » Time.
2. Scroll to the interval timer and press Select.
3. Select either Change time to adjust the timer, or Stop timer to
stop the countdown.
4. Press Select to confirm.

Do not press Yes when wireless phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause interference or danger.
