Chapter 3 - Using Wave Phone Features Visual Voice Mail
Voice Mail Message Number Display
When the phone is idle its display will either show VMAIL (if there are no new
Voice Mail messages in the phone’s mailbox), or # Msg (where # equals the
number of new messages in the mailbox).
To retrieve messages:
When either VMAIL or # Msg is on the display:
Press the leftmost softkey to initiate a call to Voice Mail to retrieve the
messages.
To deactivate/activate Voice Mail Message Number Display:
1. From an idle phone, press the MENU softkey on the display.
2. Press
NEXT until VDISP appears, then press the corresponding key.
Note: If a password is requested at this point, enter the phone’s
password. Contact your Wave system administrator for information about
passwords.
3. Press On to have VMAIL (or # Msg, where # equals the number of new
messages in the mailbox) displayed.
OR
Press
Off to have the extension number of the phone displayed.
