Event Log Traps
This agent generates the traps described in the following table, when the appropriate events are
logged.
• audit-success. Success audit events are
security events that occur when an audited
access attempt is successful. For example, a
successful log on attempt is a success audit
event.
•
audit-fail. Failure audit events are security
events that occur when an audited access
attempt fails. For example, a failed attempt to
open a file is a failure audit event.
•
unknown. Indicates an event type other than
those described above.
lastTrapInfoString
R This object describes, in more detail, the last event
log trap even that occurred. This string contains
details of the event like the event id, computer name,
time generated, and event specific messages similar
to the one seen with the event view application.
