OPERATION / SETUP
To enable/disable Mute:
While on a call, press [MUTE].
When enabled, [MUTE] LED will illuminate, and the connected party will not be able to
hear sound from the muted station.
When disabled, the LED of the [MUTE] extinguishes, and audio from the muted station is
restored.
On-Hook Dialing
The speaker and microphone can be used to make a call without lifting the handset.
CONDITIONS
• On-hook dialing is not available on all phones. This feature must be enabled through
ADMIN PROGRAMMING.

Enable Auto Speaker
OPERATION / SETUP
To use On-hook dialing:
1. Verify that the Auto Speaker Selection is ON.
2. Assign a CO line/Intercom/Speed Dial to a flex button.
3. Press the assigned flex button to dial the call.
Auto Speaker Select -- if value is set to ON, the station user
can access a CO line or make a DSS call by pressing the
appropriate {CO} or {DSS} button without lifting handset or
pressing the [SPEAKER] button.
