Call Handling 1-74
Chapter 1: Basic System Features
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
When handling an incoming call through DID, ICM or Transferring call:
- A call to a station which has the preprogrammed mobile extension is routed to both
the station and associated mobile extension.
- When an incoming call is answered at a station or at a mobile extension, the phone
that is not answered in the associated pair will stop ringing.
- If a mobile extension is answered, the associated station goes into Mobile-Ext In Use
State and displays the following: IN USE AT MOBILE EXT.
- Under the Mobile-Ext In Use State, the station cannot be used for dialing.
- If another station tries to call a station that is in the Mobile-Ext In Use State, the caller
hears a busy tone. In this case, Call Waiting is not supported. However, the caller can
leave a Message Wait at the extension (see 1-64).
