To disable a Default Pre-Selected (Pre-Programmed) Message for a station:
From the designated station, press the flashing [DND/FWD] LED.
System Customized Pre-Programmed Messages
These messages can be created for use system-wide and can only be set up by the System
Administrator.
To create a Customizable Pre-Selected (Pre-Programmed) Message for the system:
1. From the System Attendant Station, press [TRANS/PGM], then press 053.
2. Enter the message number (11-20).
3. Enter the message, up to 24 characters (using the Character Entry Chart shown on
page D-50).
4. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to store the message.
A confirmation tone sounds.

User Customized Station Messages
These custom messages can be created by any station user (at their own station only).
To create a Custom Message for a station:
1. Press [TRANS/PGM], then 52.
2. Enter the message, up to 24 characters (see the Character Entry Chart on
page D-50).
3. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to store the message.
Hint: See previous page for information on enabling these messages.
To delete a Custom Message from a station:
1. Press [TRANS/PGM], then 52.
2. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to delete the customized message.
