CONDITIONS
• If a station assigns call forward while a pre-selected message is activated, the
pre-selected message is canceled automatically).
• Users can leave a message at a digital phone or SLT. When leaving a message at an SLT,
a DND warning tone will sound when the handset is lifted as a reminder of the message
waiting.
• When a pre-selected message is selected in a digital phone, the [DND/FWD] will flash.

OPERATION / SETUP
Enabling Messages
To enable/activate a Default Pre-Selected (Pre-Programmed) Message for a station:
1. From the designated station, press [TRANS/PGM], then 51.
2. Enter the 2-digit message code (01-10):
01= LUNCH, RETURN AT HH:MM
02 = ON VACATION /RETURN AT DATE MM:DD
03 = OUT OF OFFICE/RETURN TIME HH:MM
04 = OUT OF OFFICE/RETURN AT DATE MM:DD
05 = OUT OF OFFICE/RETURN UNKNOWN
06 = CALL: (Telephone No: Up to 17 digits)
07 = IN OFFICE: STA XXXX
08 = IN A MEETING/RETURN TIME HH:MM
09 = AT HOME
10 = AT BRANCH OFFICE
NOTE: Some of these messages require additional input after selection (for example,
if you choose message 03, you need to enter a return time).

3. Select System Customized Pre-Programmed Messages (options 11-20 - 1-70)

4. Select User Customized Station Messages (options 00 - see 1-70)
5. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to enable and store the setting.
The [DND/FWD] LED will flash to indicate that the message is enabled.
