OPERATION / SETUP
To leave a message wait at an idle station that does not answer or is in DND mode:
Press [CALLBK].
A confirmation tone sounds, and the [CALLBK] LED at the receiving station flashes.
To answer a message wait:
Press the flashing [CALLBK] button.
The station that left the message receives an intercom ring.
To leave a call back at a busy station:
1. Press [CALLBK]. A confirmation tone sounds.
2. Go on-hook.
When the receiving station hangs up from the current call, the station that left the
message receives an intercom ring.
3. When the intercom call is answered, the callback request will be removed.
To leave a Message Wait at an SLT:
1. Perform a hook-flash, then press 556. A confirmation tone sounds
2. Go on-hook.
To answer the message wait:
1. Lift the handset. An indication tone sounds.
2. Press 557.
The station that left the message receives an intercom ring.
NOTE: If a voice message is recorded on a pulse-type SLT (PGM 110), the recorded message will be
played by dialing the message wait retrieval code (557). The played message will be
automatically deleted after being played.
When more than one message is recorded, after the first message, a warning tone sounds
to indicate that there are remaining messages. To retrieve another message, press 557
again. The Call Back will ring in Tone mode regardless of Intercom Signaling Mode (see
1-62).
To set a Call Back on a busy SLT:
1. When a busy tone is heard, perform a hook-flash, then press 556.
2. Confirmation tone sounds.
3. Go on-hook.
When the SLT returns to an idle state, the intercom ring is received.
