Forced Hands-Free Mode
A caller using a digital phone can temporarily change the answering mode of the called party
digital phone (that is from tone mode to hands free mode).
CONDITIONS
If the digital phone is changed to Hands-Free mode, the connection tone will be provided,
and the voice path is connected.
The answer mode of a called station cannot be changed if:
- the called station’s digital phone is set to a linked-pair station.
- the called station’s phone is set as a Mobile-Ext.
If the calling station’s digital phone is set as a linked-pair station, the calling station’s digital
phone CAN use the forced hands free mode.
Only the calling station’s digital phone must have Forced Hands-Free Mode enabled in
order to use this feature.
After connection, any Hands-Free mode related features are not available (ex. CallBack).
