OPERATION / SETUP
To perform a Flash from a digital phone while on a CO line call:
Press the [FLASH] softkey button.
To generate a flash from an SLT while on a CO line call:
Press the hook-switch lightly, then enter 551.
Flex Buttons
Flex (flexible) buttons are customizable buttons used for a variety of functions. They are
programmable via either Admin or station programming. Flex button can be programmed for
the following functions:
CO Line - Automatically accesses the assigned line.

DSS/BLF - Automatically indicates assigned stations and provides BLF for off-hook and
DND.

Flexible Numbering Plan Code - Any feature with a dialing code (Paging, Account code,
Call Park, etc.) can be assigned to a flex button.

Speed Dial - Automatically dials Speed Dial Numbers (that is, System, Station, Saved
Number Redial, Last Number Redial).

Group Access - Hunt Group pilot number.
+
Pool Group Access - Because some or all outside lines can be grouped, this flex button
allows access to the highest numbered unused CO line in a group.

Loop - Used to answer a transferred call on a line for which a user does not have a button
already assigned.

Station Assignment - Allows assignment of stations, and complete flexibility within the
system numbering plan. A station can be assigned a 3-digit number from 100 to 399.
SLT Maximum Hook Flash Timer (SLT only) --
designates how long the User needs to press the hook
switch to register a FLASH (Timed-Break Recall).
