Call Handling 1-52
Chapter 1: Basic System Features
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
Emergency Intrusion
If a station with this feature enabled calls a busy station, the caller can use this intrusion method
to break into the called station’s conversation.
CONDITIONS
An Emergency Intrusion call is only possible when the feature has been enabled on the
calling station (see ADMIN PROGRAMMING).
If the busy station is on a CO line call, the call is disconnected when Emergency Intrusion
is made.
The busy station is connected to the Emergency supervisor after a short beep tone
indication.
An Emergency Intrusion can not be used on a station that is:
- in the DND mode
- an Attendant station
- a Network DSS
An Emergency Intrusion is connected to:
- the Master station of a "linked pair" if both the Master and Slave are busy (see "Linked
Pair Stations" on page 1-145).
- the Secretary Station instead of Executive station.
Also see " Attendant Intrusion" on page 1-8 and "Forced Trunk Disconnect" on page 1-57.
