Do Not Disturb (DND) with Pre-Selected Message
A station can be programmed with a pre-selected message that will show up on the calling
party’s display.
CONDITIONS
When [P-MSG DND] Admin is enabled for a station:
Both internal and external calls are handled as if the station is in DND.
When in DND mode, the called station does NOT receive any rings for incoming calls. An
internal caller hears a busy tone, and the pre-selected message appears on the caller’s
display.
A external caller will hear a busy tone and see a busy message on their display (if
available).
When [P-MSG DND] is disabled, the station being called receives an incoming call ring.
The caller hears ring-back tone.
For DISA CO calls, an external user will hear a "Do not disturb" voice message telling
him/her to try again later.
This feature cannot be used when the CO direct Ring Assign feature to station is enabled.
