Instructions for Recording Greetings and Prompts
Recording AA Greetings
From any Admin Station:
1. Press PGM, then enter 06 (for Record Announcements) and 001 (for Announcement
Number).
2. Press #, then begin recording the greeting.
3. Press Hold or Save to end the recording.
NOTE: The prompt you hear will say “If you wish to leave a message press #".
Repeat the steps above to record additional greetings (e.g., Announcement 002).
Recording System Prompts
From any Admin Station:
1. Press PGM, then enter 06 (for Record Announcements), then the designated System
Prompt Number.
2. Press #, then begin recording the greeting.
Review the SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide for a list of prompts.
3. Press Hold or Save to end the recording.
NOTE: It is better to Record a second of dead air over a System Prompt than to delete it.
