Appendix C: Voicemail Service
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
Using any phone
• The Reply to Message feature will be available to all callers logged into their mailbox,
using any of the following access methods:
- ICM: digital phone 8 btn; digital phone 24 btn; SLT (all types); IP phone (all types)
- CO caller: Any CO call on any line type including SIP & Analog
- Networked caller: Any net call from any phone
• During or after playing a message, the user can press #5 to reply to the message.
• If the message is from an internal station, the user is transferred to that station's mailbox.
Transfer Messages
A voice mail message at one station may be transferred to another station.
CONDITIONS
• This feature is available on SLT phones with a MSG Wait LED.
• The transferred station must have VMIB access.
• A user can add a comment to a message before it is transferred (7224D only).
• The VMIB Access option must be enabled at both the transferring and transfer-to stations.

OPERATION / SETUP
To transfer a message to the other station:
While listening to a message, dial the station number to be transferred to. The message
will be transferred to the station.
