OPERATION / SETUP
To program a Mailbox Button at a Flex button (digital phones only):
1. Press [TRANS/PGM], then the flex button to be assigned.
2. Press [TRANS/PGM], then 47.
3. Enter the station number for which a Mailbox Button is being programmed.
4. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to store the setting.
To program a Mailbox Button for a Virtual Mailbox:
1. Press [TRANS/PGM], then the flex button to be assigned.
2. Enter the virtual mailbox number (200-249).
3. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to store the setting.
To retrieve a voice mail message:
Press the Mailbox Button that corresponds to the mailbox to be checked.
HINT: When a message is left in a station’s mailbox, the corresponding Mailbox Button
LED flashes.
To transfer a caller directly to a station’s voice mailbox:
1. Press the Mailbox Button that corresponds to the station’s mailbox to which the
current call is to be transferred.
2. Hang up to complete the transfer.
The caller hears the recorded greeting, then the recording tone; a message can then
be recorded.
