OPERATION / SETUP
To use Remote VMIB Control:
1. Use DID/DISA or ICM access to dial the station number.
2. While the user greeting is playing, press *.
The "Enter your password" prompt is played.
3. Enter password (authorization code) and press # button (if authorization code is more
than 5 digits, the # button is not needed) - see "Authorization Code" on page 1-20.
A message plays that tells the user the number of messages in the mailbox.
4. Press one of the following:
1 = retrieve voice messages
2 = listen or change user greeting
3 = release Call Forward to VMIB mode
4 = exit remote VMIB Control mode
To listen to the received messages:
Follow steps 1 through 3 above.
1. Press 1 to select "retrieve voice mail messages".
The recorded time & date and recorded message are played.
2. Press one of the following:
1 = listen to the current message again
2 = listen to the next message
3 = delete the current message
4 = delete all received messages
To change the user greeting:
Follow steps 1 through 3 above.
1. Press 2 to select "record or change user greeting".
2. While the User greeting is being played, press # to record a new user greeting.
3. Record the new user greeting.
4. Press * to save the new greeting and return to the main menu.
To cancel Call Forward:
Follow steps 1 through 3 above.
Press 3 to cancel Call Forward to VMIB.
To exit VMIB Control mode:
Press * in the main menu of Remote VMIB control mode.
