Record System Greetings
Although the SBX IP 320 provides a series of default pre-recorded greetings and prompts (in
the VMIB), these recordings can be customized and re-recorded for use throughout the system.
IMPORTANT: The VMIB MUST BE INSTALLED in order for system greetings and prompts to
be recorded. An error tone sounds if an attempt is made to record system
greetings and prompts in a system without a VMIB.
CONDITIONS
Default Prompts for date and time are contained in VMIB to be used for date and time
stamping. These prompts allow envelope information to be stored with any voice mail
messages received by a user.
There are 70 default system greeting messages (001-070). There are 30 fixed system
greeting messages (71-100).
Although the default recorded greetings and prompts can be changed, the numbering of
system greetings and prompts cannot.
System greetings and prompts can only be recorded at a System Attendant station.
There is no time limit for recorded system greetings and prompts from the System
Attendant station.
