Security of Transit-Out Code with registered IP
If Transit-out Security feature is enabled, the received IP (in all received setup packets for the
Transit-Out feature (see page A-9) is checked with the registered IP. If the IP is verified, the
Transit-Out feature is initiated. However, if the IP is not validated, the call is automatically
disconnected.
CONDITIONS
Once Transit-Out Security, IP numbers must be set at CPN Info in Network Number Table
(see Admin Programming).
The verification that occurs with Transit-out Security is a comparison between the
received IP in setup packet and registered IP. The system compares the received IP
number with all registered CPN Info IP at the NET Number table. Transit-Out Security is
only used on a VOIP CO line; the setup packet for Transit-Out arrives from a VOIP line.
If a received IP does not match with any registered IP in the Network Number Table, the
call is disconnected.
