SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
Set Networking CO Line Type
Use PGM 322, then FLEX 4 … see page A-24.
Access Network Routing Table - Numbering Plan
Use PGM 324 … see page A-24.
OPERATION / SETUP
When a CO Transit-Out is Activated
1. When a CO Transit-Out code is entered for a station on another networked system,
the networked system secures a CO line that is preprogrammed for transmitting the
CO Transit-Out codes to the master system.
2. The master system secures a CO line that is preprogrammed to receive the CO
Transit-Out codes.
3. After seizing a PSTN CO line, the master system sends the digit information which
places a call.
4. The called station rings, and the call is connected when it is answered.
Do-Not-Disturb (DND) with Network Calls
Do Not Disturb (DND) prevents network calls from ringing at the designated station (also see
page 1-49 for more information about DND).
CONDITIONS
If the BLF feature (see page A-3) has been activated on the station using DND, the [NET
DSS] LED flashes when DND is enabled.
ADMIN PROGRAMMING
Set DND Attribute
Use PGM 111 … see page 1-49.
OPERATION / SETUP
To activate DND mode:
1. Press [DND] at the station.
2. When a call is received at the station, the Caller will hear a busy tone; the station in
DND mode will not receive any notification of the call.
