SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
Serial (COM port)
The MBU software can be upgraded via through an RS-232C serial interface using the ipLDK
upgrade program stored within a remote computer.
CONDITIONS
• The Serial port MUST be connected to COM port 2 in the MBU.
• While in the upgrade process, other features do not work in the system.
• When the SBX IP MBU software upgrade is finished without completing, you can retry to
upgrade by doing the whole process again.
• If the ROM files you want to send are invalid, the MBU s/w upgrade will not be started.
ADMIN PROGRAMMING
Set RS-232C Port
RS-232C Port Setting -- used to designate port
settings and assign: Baud Rate, CTS/RTS,
P-Break, and LPP.
