Call Park Recall Timer
OPERATION / SETUP
To park a call:
1. Press [TRANS/PGM].
2. Enter the parking location 601-608, then go on -hook.
3. Page the user (if appropriate) with the location of the parked call for retrieval.
To retrieve the parked call from a digital phone:
1. Go off-hook.
2. Enter the location of the parked call.
Park and Page
This feature allows a caller to page a user when the caller reaches the user’s voice mail. This
process places the call in a System Park Zone, then have the user paged.
CONDITIONS
The target mailbox must have the COS associated with this feature enabled.
This feature is only supported for CO callers.
The call is sent to the operator:
- If the call remains unanswered in the park location for the duration of the Call Park
Recall timer, the call transfers to the operator.
- After one attempt
This setting must be made for each station through ADMIN PROGRAMMING. The default
setting is for this feature to be disabled for each station.
PGM 6* must be used to record the user’s name at each station with this feature enabled.
PGM 6, then 1 must be used to record the user’s greeting (including paging instructions -
shown below) at each station with this feature enabled.
The system places the caller into a parking zone (beginning at the first available zone),
then accesses the All-Call page. A pre-recorded broadcast sounds through the paging
system: "Call for [user] in location XXX".The system then goes on-hook.
Call Park Recall Timer -- designates the amount of time
before a call placed in a call park location will recall at the
station that placed the call on park.
