Chapter 1: Basic System Features
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
NOTE: All of the Forwarding features described above can be used to forward to phone numbers both
inside and outside (off-network) the SBX IP 320 system. When a call comes into a forwarded
station, the system automatically seizes an outgoing CO Line, then dials the telephone number
entered by the user.
CONDITIONS
The Call Forward feature must be enabled for each station (see ADMIN
PROGRAMMING).
A time limit can be set for No Answer Forward features: if the called station does not
answer within the time set, the call will be forwarded (see ADMIN PROGRAMMING).
Call Forward, Station Off-net with Tel Num (Unconditional, No answer)
While the number to which calls will be forwarded is automatically assigned to a station
speed bin, it cannot be erased or edited using the normal speed bin programming.
Instead, the speed bin to which the forwarding number is assigned is automatically
deleted when the forward setting is deactivated/cancelled.
Call Forward, Incoming CO Off-net (ATD only)
The system will automatically disconnect the call after the Unsupervised Conference
Timer has expired.
If there is no CO Line available, Off-net Call Forward is not activated.
This feature is supported for DID lines.
Any toll restrictions are based on the COS of the outgoing CO Line.
Call Forward, Follow Me
While Follow-Me Call Forward can be activated from any Station within the system with
Call Forward access, it MUST be programmed from the station to which calls are to be
forwarded.
A password must be entered at the station from which calls are to be forwarded.
An Authorization code must be registered to use Follow-me Call Forward.
NOTE: Also see "SLT Phone Call Forward" on page 1-179 and "Preset Call Forward" on page 1-180.
