Outgoing Call Access 1-170
Chapter 1: Basic System Features
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
To clear Station Speed Dial numbers from an SLT phone:
1. Go off-hook.
2. Enter 555 (the Speed Dial program code).
3. Dial the Station Speed Dial bin number (000-099).
4. Perform a hook-switch to dial the number.
System Speed Dialing
The System Speed Dial bins are programmed by the System Attendant only. These numbers
are available for easy access by all stations within the system.
CONDITIONS
The maximum System Speed Dial capacity is 500.
When storing System Speed Dial numbers from an Attendant Station (digital phone):
- the [DND/FWD] button can be used as Dial Tone Detect, if the CO Dial Tone Detect
feature is enabled, and stored as the first or second digit. In addition, the accessed
CO Line must be after the PBX mode.
- the FLASH button functions as Flash to PX (or PBX), if the accessed CO Line is
analog. If the accessed CO Line is ISDN line, and is stored as the first digit, FLASH
sends the remaining digits with envelope information in keypad facility IE, rather than
in the Calling Party Number IE.
The CPTU must be installed dial tone detection (refer to the SBX Installation Guide).
System Speed Dial is restricted by station COS (see 1-23).
There can be a maximum of 24 digits in a System Speed Dial number including other
applicable digits and special function codes.
If you dial an empty system speed bin, an error tone will sound.
If you select a CO Line before dialing a System Speed Dial bin number, the selected CO
overrides the CO Line programmed for the System Speed Dial bin number.
If all CO Lines in the group are busy, a busy tone sounds when an attempt is made to
access a System Speed Dial number.
System Speed Dial numbers are saved even if the system is powered down (for example,
during a power outage).
