4. Dial the appropriate telephone number, and include any of the following as needed:
[CALLBK] = inserts a pause.
button = if stored as the first digit, its function is to Display Security. Otherwise, its
function is to change to Pulse (for DTMF Switchover).
[DND/FWD] = for Dial Tone Detect or Pause (see CONDITIONS)
[FLASH] = inserts a Flash into the speed number (see CONDITIONS).
5. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to complete the entry.
Hint: At this point, the "Character Entry Chart" on page D-50 can be used to enter a
name (max. 12 characters) as needed.
6. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to store the setting (including a name if used), and complete the
dialing sequence. To store continuously, repeat this procedure from Step 3.
To delete a Station Speed Dial bin from a digital phone:
1. Press [TRANS/PGM], then press [SPEED].
2. Enter the Station Speed Dial bin (000-099) to be deleted.
3. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to delete the designated bin.
To make a call using Station Speed Dial from a digital phone:
1. Go off-hook.
2. Press [SPEED], then enter the Station Speed Dial bin (000-099).
To display and dial a Speed Dial bin by scrolling (digital phones with displays only):
1. Press [TRANS/PGM], then press [SPEED].
2. Enter the Station Speed Dial bin (000-099).
3. Use the display scroll buttons to display the next/previous Speed Dial number.
To store Station Speed Dial numbers from an SLT phone:
1. Go off-hook.
2. Enter 555 (the Speed Dial program code).
3. Dial the Station Speed Dial bin number (000-099).
4. Dial the appropriate phone number (up to 24 digits).
5. Perform a hook-switch to store the number.
To make a call using Station Speed Dial from an SLT phone:
1. Go off-hook.
2. Enter 558 (the Speed Dial access code).
3. Dial the Station Speed Dial bin number (000-099).
