Outgoing Call Access 1-163
Chapter 1: Basic System Features
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
EXAMPLES
Example 1: Add Prefix Digit
The long distance call access code starts with 0 (for example, 02, 031, 051). If a less expensive
carrier exists, the user can access it with the carrier access code 082, then the long distance
access code - without using 0.
Of course, the System Administrator wants to use this cost effective carrier for all long distance
calls (e.g., dial 0314502628, 082314504628).
Example 2: Select CO group
In this example, the system is connected to two carriers (Carrier A and Carrier B). Carrier B is
used for international calls (with the international call access code of 001), and Carrier A is used
for all other calls.
