Conference Room
This feature allows both internal users or CO callers to join a conference without the need for
a conference initiator (see "Multi-line Conferences" on page 1-87). This conference feature
uses special codes that allow participants to call and join on their own. Each conference "room"
has its own code (similar to using a room number).
When a user enters a conference room, members that have previously entered receive a
warning tone. This warning tone is provided to all members. When a user goes out of the
conference currently in the room. The warning tone is an optional feature which can be
deactivated (see ADMIN PROGRAMMING for this feature).
In addition, each Conference Room can be assigned to a DSS flex button on any station. This
Conference Room button flashes (or is steady) depending upon the number of participants in
the room.
