Conference Calls 1-89
Chapter 1: Basic System Features
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
Conference Calls
A station user can set up a conference call including both intercom stations and CO Lines. A
"conference initiator" uses the Conference feature to add conference members one-by-one to
a single conference call. As they are added to the conference, users can immediately speak to
each other - even while members are continuing to be added to the session.
There are four Conference features available:
“Multi-line Conferences” on page 1-87
“Conference Room” on page 1-88
“Paging Conference” on page 1-91
“SLT Conference” on page 1-92
Multi-line Conferences
CONDITIONS
• A max. of 15 participants (from either intercom/CO lines) can be included in a conference.
• The first participant call in a conference can be either incoming or outgoing,
• As many as fourteen CO lines can be used to converse with one intercom station.
• An Unsupervised Conference is one that continues even though the conference initiator
(supervisor) exits the conference.
• If no internal station is included as a participant in an Unsupervised Conference, the
conference is limited by the Unsupervised Conference timer. The default timer setting is
ten minutes. However, the Unsupervised Conference timer will be reset if an internal party
re-enters/joins the conference.
