Call Handling 1-87
Chapter 1: Basic System Features
SBX IP Programming & Operations Guide
OPERATION / SETUP
To accept Voice Over when a Camp-On warning tone is heard by a busy station:
1. Press the flashing [HOLD/SAVE] button.
The current caller is placed in a hold state and will hear MOH (if available). The busy
station is connected to the camped-on station.
2. Press [HOLD/SAVE] to toggle between the two parties (that is the camped-on, and
distant parties).
A confirmation tone will sound each time the user toggles between parties.
NOTE: The Voice Over is only ended when the camped-on party hangs up, or the user
hangs up to end the call.
Wakeup
Each Attendant or station user can set an alarm as a wake-up call or reminder. This feature can
be programmed to activate one time or programmed to repeat daily.
CONDITIONS
• If the user goes off-hook during the alarm, a special dial tone sounds.
• If a wake-up alarm is set at a user station, an asterisk (*) appears at the left of the currently
displayed time.
• When voice mail is used, a voice message for the wake-up time is played three times,
then MOH is presented.
• A Wake Up alert is canceled (for this occurrence only) if there is no response after three
rings.
• A Wake Up Fail Timer can be set to notify an Attendant station when a Wake Up alert
goes unanswered (after it alerts three times). The following Wake Up Fail Ring Timers
can be set:
- 0 = prevents a Wake Up Fail Ring from ending automatically.
- 1 to 98 = Wake Up Fail Ring will automatically end after the set Wake Up Fail Ring
Timer expires
- 99 = prevents the Wake Up Fail Ring from being sent to the Attendant Station.
