3) Wait for the destination number to answer.
HINT
If the destination number doesn’t answer, you can
wait for voice mail (if applicable) answers or you
can press Trans to end the transfer process and
connect back to the caller. You can then take a
message or try another transfer using the steps
shown here.
When the destination number answers:
4) Announce the call.
5) Hang up to complete the transfer.
TRANSFER AND ANSWER CALL
If you are the process of transferring a call and another call rings in,
you can use this feature to simultaneously complete the transfer and
answer the ringing call.
NOTE
This option requires that a feature button has been
specially programmed on your phone. Contact your
System Administrator for more information.
While on an outside line call and another call is ringing:
1) Press the programmed Transfer feature button.
2) Dial the destination intercom extension number.
• If the extension has a programmed DSS button,
you can press that.
3) Press the programmed transfer feature button to complete
the transfer and answer the ringing call.
