TRANSFERRING CALLS

Transfer is used to deliver calls from your extension to another

extension. You can make a supervised transfer or an unsupervised

transfer. During supervised transfers, you wait for the called party to

answer the phone, then announce the call. In unsupervised transfers,

you hang up before the called party answers.

MAKING AN UNSUPERVISED TRANSFER

Transfer a call without making an announcement to the destination

number.

While connected to a call (outside line or

intercom extension):

1) Press Trans.

2) Dial the destination number where you want to transfer this

call (extension, UCD Group, Virtual Number, etc.).

NOTE

If your phone has a button that has been

programmed to a dial specific extension, you can

use that button.

3) Hang up to complete the transfer without waiting for the

destination number to answer.

MAKING A SUPERVISED TRANSFER

You can announce the transfer to the party to whom you are

transferring the call before the transfer actually occurs.
