USING THE SPEAKERPHONE

To make a call using the hands-free speakerphone of the DX-80/120

phone:

1) Press Speaker without lifting the handset from the cradle.

HINT

When dialing an internal number, you can dial the

extension or press the DSS button to automatically

activate the speaker phone without pressing

Speaker.

2) Press Talk twice to disconnect/hang up.

SWITCHING BETWEEN THE HANDSET

AND SPEAKERPHONE

You can switch between the handset and speaker any time before or

during a call.

Switch from handset to speakerphone:

1) Press Speaker.

2) Hang up the handset.

Switch from speakerphone to handset:

Pick up the handset.

MAKING OUTSIDE CALLS

You can access the CO lines (outside lines) in several different ways.

In some cases you may want to dial the specific outside line or

outside line group, but in most cases, you can simply press the

outside line button.

1) Press the outside line button of an idle (unlit) outside line.

When you hear dial tone:

2) Dial the telephone number.

3) Hang up to end the call.

Press Talk twice to hang up if you are using speakerphone.
