USING STATUS MESSAGES
You can use a display message to inform other users of the current
status of your extension. There are six programmed messages and
one custom message that you can use. Whenever another user calls
an extension with an active Status message, the system displays the
message at the calling extension.
SELECTING/CREATING A STATUS MESSAGE
While the extension is idle
1) Press Func + 9 + 0 to display the first message choice.
2) Press
next until the pre-programmed message you want to
use displays.
When you see the message you want to use:
3) Press
store to select it, then go to step 7.
OR
To enter a custom message:
4) Press
chg.
5) Use the alpha-numeric charts (shown on pages 40 through
42) and dial-pad to create the message.
6) Press
save when you are done.
7) Press Talk twice to exit.
