Setting Call Forward Options (continued)
SETTING UP PERSONAL SPEED DIALS
Speed Dialing allows you to store frequently dialed numbers. There
are 20 speed dial locations (bins) for most extensions, and 200
system speed bins that are shared by all extensions.
1) Press Func + 1.
2) Enter the location of the bin at which you want to store this
number (470-489).
• These are the default locations for the personal speed dial
numbers.
3) Press show to display the current contents of the speed dail
bin you specified in step 2.
4) Press
chg.
5) Enter the telephone number you want to store.
HINT
Use Pauses (Func + 7 + 0), Flash (Func + 3) and
Pulse To Tone Conversion (*) codes as necessary.
If you are unsure whether you need these codes,
see your System Administrator.
6) Press save to store the phone number you just entered in the
location you specified.
• Repeat the steps above to program any other personal speed dial
numbers as needed.
When you have entered all the Speed Dial Numbers:
7) PressTalk twice to exit.
DIAL PAD TOUCH TONES
Dial Pad Confirmation is the tone you hear to confirm that you have
pressed a button on the Dial Pad. This mode remains set unless you
disable it.
DISABLING TOUCH TONE.
While the telephone is idle:
Press Func + # + 1.
• The phone sounds a confirmation tone and the display indicates
the current status (
TOUCH TONE ON
or
TOUCH TONE OFF
).
