Using the Alarm Clock Feature (continued)
TURNING THE ALARM OFF
When the alarm sounds, the following appears on the display:
Press the ack soft key to stop the alarm.
OR
Wait for it to stop automatically.
USING AUTOMATIC HOLD
If you are on a call and you press an outside line button, the
Automatic Hold feature automatically places the current call on hold.
EXAMPLE
If you are currently on a call on line 1 and you
press line 2, the call on line 1 is placed on
Exclusive Hold automatically.
Similarly, if you are currently on an intercom call
with another DX-80/120 system extension and you
press an outside line button, the intercom call is
placed on Exclusive hold.
With Automatic Hold, you do not need to press the
Hold button unless you want to place a call on
System Hold.
SETTING AUTOMATIC HOLD
Press Func + 9 + 4.
• You then hear confirmation tone and “ AUTO HOLD ALLOW” appears on
the display.
• The extension returns to an idle state.
To deactivate Automatic Hold:
Press Func + 9 + 4.
• You then hear confirmation tone and “ AUTO HOLD DENY” appears on
the display.
• The extension returns to an idle state.
