Once the DIR settings are made:
Go to step 8 on page 448.
OR
Setting this Key as a Function Key:
NOTE
When/if you choose “Func Key” the Func Access field will be come available, and the
Dial Key fields will be come unavailable. Similarly, if/when you choose “None”, both
the Dial and Func Key fields will become unavailable.
5) Click on the Func Key option to make the Func Access field active.
6) Enter a description for the Function key assignment.
EXAMPLE:
If you are programming a Call Key for Function 66, then you would enter “66”
into this field.
Once the settings are made for the Func key:
Go to step 8 below.
OR
If Don’t Want to Set this Key as a Dial or Function Key:
NOTE
When/if you choose “Func Key” the Func Access field will be come available, and the
Dial Key fields will be come unavailable. Similarly, if/when you choose “None”, both
the Dial and Func Key fields will become unavailable.
5) Click on the None option to make the Dial and Func fields unavailable.
Once the settings is made for None:
Go to step 8 below.
Once all key settings are made:
8) Click to move your settings to the corresponding location in the scrolling table.
9) Click the Update button to store the settings into the database on the local disk.
• Use the steps above to assign other directory number keys as needed for this extension. In addition,
you can program features keys for other extensions by selecting another unit number (see step 2), then
follow the steps for making the settings as shown above.
When you are finished:
10)Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
When you have finished all programming changes:
11)Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
