Setting Up Directory/Extension Swapping via PC-DBA (continued)
4) Click the Update button to store the settings into the database on the local disk.
• Use the method shown in the above steps to continue swapping extension directory numbers as
needed.
When you are finished:
5) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
When you have finished all programming changes:
6) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
SET UP DIRECTORY/EXTENSION SWAPPING VIA THE DET
NOTE
chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Enter 01-XXX-22 (where XXX is the extension: 101~204).
5) Press save to display the Directory Number Swapping screen.
6) Press show.
7) Enter the extension directory number that you want to assign this extension.
8) Press save to enable the directory number on this port.
• The system moves the old directory number to the port where the new number came from.
9) Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
• Use the procedure shown above to swap other directories/extensions, as needed.
OR
Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
