Setting Up Receive Assignments via PC-DBA (continued)
In the Assign Receive column on the left side of the screen where all of the CO lines
are listed and set to enable receive capabilities:
3) Double click any C.O. line to change its setting from Y (enable receive privileges) to N (disable receive
privileges).
• Use this method to reverse this setting (i.e., change disable to enabled).
4) Click the Update button to store the settings into the database on the local disk.
• Use the method shown above to assign (or unassign/disable) receiving privileges to other directory
numbers as appropriate.
When you are finished:
5) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
When you have finished all programming changes:
6) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
SETTING UP RECEIVE ASSIGNMENTS VIA THE DET
NOTE
• chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
• You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Enter 01-XXX-24-NN (where XXX is the extension: 101~204; and NN represents the CO line 01~40
access).
5) Press save to display the Receive Assignment selection for the extension you specified.
6) Press chg to select whether or not the current extension should have receive the assignment.
• Valid selections are Y or N, per port and tenant number.
• The default for all receive assignments is yes.
7) Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
• Use the procedure shown above to set receive assignments to other extensions, as needed.
OR
Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.

Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
