4) Make sure there is a checkbox ( ) next to OHVA Accept to place a check mark there to enable the
OHVA Accept option.
• Clicking on this box toggles the setting between yes/enable (a checkmark ) and no/disable (no
checkmark ).
• The default is yes (checkmark ).
EXAMPLE
If you do not want to allow others to contact you using OHVA, set this option to no (no
checkmark).
5) Click the Update button to store the setting in the database on the local disk.
• Use the procedure shown above to set OHVA capabilities for other extensions as needed.
When you are finished:
6) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
When you have finished all programming changes:
7) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
SETTING UP OFF HOOK VOICE ANNOUNCE VIA THE DET
NOTE
chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
Setting the OHVA Active Option:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
4) Enter 01-XXX-14 (where XXX is the extension: 101~204).
5) Press save to display the OHVA Active screen.
6) Press chg to specify whether or not you want to this extension to be able to make announcements to
other extensions.
• Valid options are Y or N.
• The default is Y (yes) - allow announcements to be made from this extension.
