Setting Up Intrusion Capabilities via PC-DBA (continued)
1) Go to ProgrammingXExtension to display the Extensions screen.
2) Select the extension number you want to program.
3) Click the checkbox ( ) next to Intrusion Active to place a check mark there to enable the Intrusion
feature ( ).
• Clicking on this box toggles the setting between yes/enable (a checkmark ) and no/disable (no
checkmark ).
• The default is no (no checkmark )
EXAMPLE
If you want to allow supervisors to intrude on calls in their department, set this option
to yes for the supervisor’s extension.
4) Make sure there is a checkbox ( ) next to Intrusion Accept to enable the Intrusion Accept feature.
• Clicking on this box toggles the setting between yes/enable (a checkmark ) and no/disable (no
checkmark ).
• The default is yes (checkmark ).
EXAMPLE
If you want to keep supervisors’ calls private, set this field to no for the supervisor’s
extension. If you want to allow supervisors to intrude on calls in their department, set
this option to yes for the department employees’ extensions.
