Specifying the UCD Group via PC-DBA (continued)
5) Select the digital channel directory number as a member in the first field (i.e., field 1).
• The VM hunt group is the new UCD group you selected and programmed with the digital channel
members.
• Use the steps above to continue programming all digital channel extensions currently connected to the
voice mail.
When you are finished:
6) Click the Update button to store the settings into the database on the local disk.
7) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
Now, go set up the UCD group in the Voice Mail Table... (see page 383)
SPECIFYING THE UCD GROUP VIA THE DET
NOTE
chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to actuate the associated operation.
You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Enter 06-01-24-04 (where 24 represents the group number).
5) Press save to display the UCD group member.
6) Press show to display Member #1 of the UCD group you specified.
7) Press chg.
8) Enter the extension directory of the voice mail port to program into this member.
9) Press save to store the setting.
10) Press next to display the next UCD group member.
• Continue programming all voice mail ports as member of this UCD group (as needed), using the steps
above.
OR
11) Press the the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
Now, set the UCD Group in the Voice Mail Table (see page 384)
