Programming UCDs via the DET (continued)
Setting the Hunting Method for a UCD Group:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 349):
4) Enter 06-01-XX-05 (where XX represents the UCD group: 01~24).
5) Press save to display the Hunting Method screen for the specified UCD group.
6) Press chg until you see the appropriate hunting method for this UCD group.
• Valid options are Linear, Distributed, and All Ring.
• The default is Linear.
7) Press save to store the setting.
8) Press next to display the UCD No Answer Timer screen (now to go step 6 in “Setting the UCD No Answer
Timer:” below).

If you want to the set Hunting Method for other UCD groups, press the volume Up
button to return to the DB Item Selection screen, and repeat the steps in this section.
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Setting the UCD No Answer Timer:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 349):
4) Enter 06-01-XX-06 (where XX represents the UCD group: 01~24).
5) Press save to display the No Answer Timer screen for the specified UCD group.
6) Press chg.
7) Enter the number of seconds you want the system to ring an extension in this UCD group before pulling
the call back and ringing the next extension in the hunt group.
• Valid options are 5 to 60 seconds.
• The default is 10.
8) Press save to store the setting.
9) Press next to display the UCD Overflow 1 Timer screen (now to go step 6 in “Setting the UCD Overflow 1
Timer:” below ).

If you want to set the No Answer Timer for other UCD groups, press the volume Up
button to return to the DB Item Selection screen, and repeat the steps in this section.
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
