Setting DISA via the DET (continued)
Programming the Service Mode:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 315):
4) Enter 03-47-03-XXX-04 (where XXX represents the appropriate directory number: 800~839).
5) Press save to display the Service mode screen.
6) Press chg until you see the DISA feature you want to be active for this CO line directory number.
• Valid options are Always, Never, Day, and Eve (evenings).
• The default is Always.
7) Press next to display TALK TIME (now go to step 6 in “Programming the DISA Day COS:” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Programming the DISA Day COS:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 315):
4) Enter 03-47-03-XXX-05 (where XXX represents the appropriate directory number: 800~839).
5) Press save to display the DISA CO Line.
6) Press chg until you see the duration of outgoing calls made via the DISA feature you want to allow for this
CO line directory.
• Extension users can extend this talk time, in amounts corresponding to what you have set here.
• Valid options are 1,2,3,5,10, and 15 minutes.
• The default is five minutes.
EXAMPLE
If you set this field to 3 minutes, extensions users can make outgoing calls of up to 3
minutes, then the caller can extend the time for another 3 minute period.
7) Press next to display the CO line directory number prompt asking for the next CO line you want to
program for DISA.
• Repeat the steps above (starting at the top of page 317) to set the DISA line on/off, day class of service,
evening class of service, service time, and talk time for other directory numbers, as needed.
When all CO Line Directory have been programmed:
8) Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27.
