Setting DISA via the DET (continued)
Setting the Ring Time to Answer:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
4) Enter 03-47-01.
5) Press save to display the Ring Time to Answer screen.
6) Press chg.
7) Enter the number of seconds that you want the system to wait on an unanswered incoming call before
classifying it as a DISA line.
• Valid options are 0 through 99, in 1 second increments.
• The default is 0 seconds.
8) Press save to store the setting.
9) Press next to advance to the Allowed Extension COS screen (now go to step 6 in “Setting the Allowed
Extension COS:” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Setting the Allowed Extension COS:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 315):
4) Enter 03-47-02-0X (where X represents the correct extension COS: 1~8).
5) Press save to display the Extension COS screen.
6) Press chg to change the setting of each class(es) of service you want to allow to use the DISA feature to
make system CO line calls (Y/N).
AND/OR
7) Press next to display the next extension COS.
• Repeat steps 7 and 8 for each Extension COS you want to change.
When you have finished selecting Extension COS settings:
8) Press the Hold button to exit Extension Class of Service and return to the previous screen.
9) Press next to advance to CO line specific DISA programming and the CO Line prompt (now go to step 6
in
“Setting the CO LN:” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
