Programming Automated Attendant via the DET (continued)
Setting the Drop No Extension # Dialed option:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 303):
4) Enter 03-46-03.
5) Press save to display the Drop No Extension # Dialed screen.
6) Press chg to select whether or not you want the system to automatically drop callers if they do not make
a selection or dial a valid extension directory number (Y/N).
• When set to no, the system automatically routes callers to the designated answering position if they do
not make a selection or dial a valid extension directory number.
• The default is no.
7) Press save to store the setting.
8) Press next to display the XFR (Transfer) Mode screen (now go to step 6 in “Setting the XFR (Transfer)
Mode:” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Setting the XFR (Transfer) Mode:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 303):
4) Enter 03-46-04.
5) Press save to display the XFR (Transfer) Mode screen.
6) Press chg to choose either Ring-Back Tone (RBT) or Music On Hold (MOH).
• This is the call processing that is provided to callers after they have made a selection and are being
routed in the system.
• The default is ring back tone.
7) Press save to store the setting.
8) Press next to display the Waiting Code screen (now go to step 6 in “Programming the Waiting Code:”
below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
