Establishing SLT Hook Flash via the DET (continued)
Setting the Start Range:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
7) Enter 03-14-01.
8) Press save to advance to the Start screen.
9) Press chg to set the Start range setting.
• This timer indicates the minimum time that an analog/SLT must flash the hook-switch to be considered
a valid flash-hook request.
• A hook-flash that is shorter than this timer is considered a mistake; no action is taken.
• Valid options include from 60 - 1400 milliseconds.
• The default is 200 milliseconds.
10)Press next to advance to the End screen (now go to step 6 in “Setting the End Range:” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).

From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 230):
4) Enter 03-14-02.
5) Press save to advance to the End screen.
6) Press chg to set the End range setting.
• This timer indicates the maximum time that an analog/SLT must flash the hook-switch to be considered
a valid flash-hook request.
• A hook-flash that is longer than this timer is considered a hang up.
• Valid options include from 100 - 1500 milliseconds.
• The default is 1000 milliseconds.
7) Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
