Establishing Dialing Ratio via the DET (continued)
Setting the Pulse Dialing Inter-digit Time:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 226):
4) Enter 03-05-02.
5) Press save to advance to Pulse Dialing Inter-digit Time.
6) Press chg to select the time you want the system to insert between each pulse during outdialing.
• Valid choices are 400 - 800 milliseconds.
• The default is 800 milliseconds.
7) Press next to advance to Tone Time (now go to step 6 in “Setting the Tone Time:” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Setting the Tone Time:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 226):
4) Enter 03-05-03.
5) Press save to advance to Tone Time.
6) Press chg to select the length of time you want the system to play each individual DTMF tone during
outdialing.
• This time is also used for time between DTMF digits.
• Valid options are 70, 90, or 120 milliseconds.
• The default is 70 milliseconds.
7) Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.

Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
