Establishing Dialing Ratio (continued)
ESTABLISHING THE DIALING RATIO VIA THE DET
NOTE
• chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
• You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Enter 03-05.
5) Press save to advance to Dialing Ratio.
6) Press next to display each Dialing Ratio screen (see information in the following sections for setting the
the Dialing Ratio).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Setting the Break Time:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
4) Enter 03-05-01.
5) Press save to advance to Break Time.
6) Press chg to select how long you want the system to play each individual pulse during outdialing.
• Valid choices are 60 or 67 milliseconds.
• The default is 60 milliseconds.
7) Press next to advance to Pulse Dialing Inter-digit Time (now go to step 6 in “Setting the Pulse Dialing
Inter-digit Time:” below).

Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.

Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
