Setting Up Hold Reminder via PC-DBA (continued)
In the Hold Reminder field in top center of the screen:
2) Select the frequency with which you want the system to sound the reminder tone for calls on system
hold or exclusive hold.
• Valid choices are 0, 10, 30, 60, and 90 seconds. The default is 30 seconds.
• If you want to disable the hold reminder tone, select 0.
When you are finished:
3) Click the Update button to store the settings into the database on the local disk.
4) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
When you have finished all programming changes:
5) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
SETTING UP HOLD REMINDER VIA THE DET
NOTE
chg, bksp, save, one, always, del, and ack are interactive LCD button operations.
Use the three buttons below the LCD display to activate the associated operation.
You can press Hold at any time to return to the previous level or press the volume
buttons to return to the main DB selection screen.
1) Enter Database Administration (see page 26) using the feature code Feature # * to display the password
prompt.
2) Enter the DB Admin password (see page 27).
3) Press show to display the DB Item Select screen.
4) Enter 03-07.
5) Press save to display the Hold Reminder screen.
6) Press chg until the appropriate frequency with which you want the system to sound the reminder tone for
calls on system hold or exclusive hold appears.
• Valid choices are 0, 10, 30, 60, and 90 seconds.
• The default is 30 seconds.
• If you want to disable the hold reminder tone, select 0.
7) Press the Hold button to return to the previous menu level.
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.

Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
